Being a "died in the wool" science fiction fan, I recently completed a five book series of "Star Trek: The Fall", a collaboration by five different authors. The interesting part is that the entire time line of the five books covers a mere two months of post-Deep Space Nine and Dominion War times ... the dedication of the replacement Deep Space Nine station after its destruction by renegade Tzenkethi. The first three books in the series, "Revelation and Dust" by David R. George III, "The Crimson Shadow" by Una McCormack and "A Ceremony of Losses" by David Mack can actually be read in any order, due to an overlap in time, but different locales. The last two, "The Poisoned Chalice" by James Swallow and "Peaceable Kingdoms" by Dayton Ward must be read as #4 and #5, respectively. I recommend all five for those interested in all the versions of "Star Trek".
