The poor is hated even of his own neighbour: but the rich hath many friends. Proverbs 14:20 I wonder how that works in the Cyber World?

Well, not unless you borrowed any of my monikers... if you did, could you please give them back? Thank you.

Most of us have have probably come across more than thousands of acquaintances in life, but we're truly lucky if we have a few "true" friends that we can count on the fingers of one hand.

I don't think the "riches" they speak of in that instance are of a monetary value.

What about fair weather friends? Those that turn their back on you for petty reasons? well that would depend on your outlook. What you may find petty, someone else may think is important.

They do say, keep your friends close, and your enemies even closer, I don't why we have to have enemies, rivals, yes, competition makes you a better person, makes you strive to improve. Team players always shake hands before and after a competition, you can have opposing views and still remain friends. If you have enemies it says one thing, one or both parties are too bloody minded to get on. I tend to look at it another way. . . . . Know your enemy. You can't defeat what you don't know. In the process of getting to know your enemy, you may find a new friendship . . . . or you may not . . . but at least you will know what makes them tick.

Who cares about their "enemies"? Why spend one second of one day even thinking about that? That is a waste of time and energy. If people don't like me or wish me ill, screw em! Why should i waste my energy on that?

That's true. However superficial and ego boosting things aren't really important.
