What are your goals for 2020, well I don't know about yours, but mine and Mrs Jack's are to reach 2020. Should make it easily, only a few more days left, all in all, 2019 hasn't been a bad year for us. We have had the usual up's and down's but there has been more up's than down. Just waiting now to see what 2020 will bring, oh and Global Warming. Just saying.

I hope to win the Lotto, so I can have a winter home in Florida. Hey! It ain't gonna happen, but I can dream. Just curious, in what part of FL would you choose to live? I prefer the Gulf Coast to the Atlantic coast. I love Sanibel Island and Captiva. St. Pete’s Beach and Clearwater Beach area are nice too. Dunedin is a cute little town, very walkable. Destin on the panhandle is nice, but not as warm. I prefer no warmer than mid-seventies for temps. I guess I would go with Dunedin for the walkability factor...good restaurants, shops, and lots of community activities too!

jack, fritz...the other day I watched a war movie, ‘Kilo Two Bravo’ about British soldiers stuck in an area of landmines in Afghanistan. It was on Netflix and was a pretty good movie. I have to tell you though, I could hardly understand the dialogue and almost wished there were subtitles. If you have seen it, I’d be curious to know the dialect of the soldiers in it. Very heavy British accents.

Bald is awesome on men! Mr. Clean is good-looking and built for sure, but I think he could use a bit of eyebrow threading. A little too bushy for my tastes.

Neighbors are in the Palm Beach area.

My three older brothers used to gather with their friends in the basement of our home to smoke pot and it was little sister’s job (me) to stand near the top of the stairs and call down to them if Mom or Dad pulled up in the driveway, and then I would have to open the door to the basement and throw down a can of Lysol to one of them standing at the bottom of the steps. lol They didn’t even pay me! I had no idea what they were doing down there. I thought they were simply cleaning the basement and disinfecting with the Lysol. These are the same brothers that used to tickle me under my neck until I couldn’t breathe and they had me in tears.

My brothers were so evil, but as adults I am actually closer to them than my sisters...probably because I was a good guard on weed duty. lol

Sorry Moxie, I can't help you with that, there are lots of different dialects in the UK. Even in my own county of Yorksshire we have different dialects, West Yorkshire has there own dialect same with North and East York. I live in South Yorkshire, I inderstand that the best, but even in City's they have different dialects. London they call their dialect Cockney, Liverpool is called Scouse, even we have difficulty sometimes understanding them.. I haven't seen the film you are on about and I don't have Netflix, enough channels to watch with the BBC , ITV, and all the Freeview channels. Just saying.

I have met Brits abroad, but this is the first time I couldn’t really understand them. Very heavy accents. Subtitles definitely would have helped. Thanks, jack!

Never smoked pot, Canabis if that is what is called Pot. Never broken the law on purpose, drugs are illegal in the UK unless it is prescribed by a Doctor. Did break the law unintentionally though, got fined 10 shillings for riding a bycicle with no rear light when I was 13 years old. I wouldn't think that would make me an hardened criminal though. Just saying.

Moxie, We met four Americans once in Italy, Mrs Jack had fallen and hurt her ankle, the two American gentlemen rushed to assist, and tried to pick her up. Their wives said to leave her till she recovers her wits, they were right of course. She had Broken a bone in in her foot and had to wear a special boot to support her foot and ankle. Nice people they were too, never found out we're about's in America they came from but I would say they were more Western than Eastern. Just saying.

Very heavy British accents That's because they are British One is Sean Bean a Yorkie. If they were Geordie's I'd find it hard to understand em but as it is the one's in the film are well spoken, perhaps a hearing aid would help better than sub titles. BTW anyone wanting to watch it it's free to watch on youtube

this is harder than quitting cigarettes. i REALLY am gonna try to not respond to any of the total shit someone (at a different board) posts... REALLY. she posts total BS. lies about stuff and isn't smart enough to keep track of what she has said before. it really bugs me when she goes on & on about certain topics. i'm afraid some poor dope (even dumber than she is) will think she knows what she's talking about.
