Good morning everyone. I hope you are all having a good start or end to your Saturday. Here in Minnesota the sun is shining and it's already 70F out. I'm hoping we can get the boat in the water later. Dock and lift are in so all that is left is the boat. Other than that not a lot planned. Have to make meatball heroes later but that's about it. So unless we are out on the boat I should be around to play. Have a great day gang!

   Hiya, bec. Not much going on here. Did a load of laundry, weeded in the garden and planted a few painted daisies. Hopefully they'll take root and sprout. Other than that, I'm relaxing now. Trying to find a good movie to watch or something. I was up much too early for a day off and just want to veg now.

It's a beautiful day here. Crystal clear sky, nice breeze, no humidity, full sunshine and 81o. Life is good.

Morning folks! I hope you are all having a good Sunday so far. Finally getting to breakfast, hubby made bacon and eggs for us. When we're done I'll finish up with the animals and let the kittens run around in the sunroom for a while. It's looking to be a beautiful day. Already 70 and brilliant sunshine. well: their is so much rain here today. rained all night, stopped for about 5 minutes this morning, now it's back for the entire day
no sleep last night due to said rain, not feeling tired and stomach cramps

Good morning everyone! I hope everyone is having a fantastic start (or end to the day). Looking to be a rainy one here but that's ok because I have errands to run. Right now am waiting for hubby to get home with our 17 year old cat Cloudy. She is diabetic and last night went into a diabetic coma. We were able to revive her with Karo Syrup. He just called and said the Vet says she no longer needs insulin. Apparently that will happen in older cats. We first discovered she was diabetic about a year ago when she lost a ton of weight. We took her in to the vet for that and discovered she needed insulin shots twice a day. She even gained a little weight back, weighs about 8 pounds now. I'm relieved because I'm not sure my heart can lose another one just yet. But for now the crisis is over. I'll be around when I can to play.

   Evening, everyone! Hope y'all had a great day. It's windy, humid and raining off and on here since mid afternoon. Not a good day at work. Long shift and got into it with a newly promoted teen to a position that he thinks gives him the authority to intimidate and belittle others. He messed with the wrong person today! lol

Gonna go make a burger and fries for dinner. Other than that, just relaxing now.

   Yeah, this kid is 19 or 20, has no education to speak of, quit once to work for one of the distribution centers and couldn't cut it. He moves at a turtle's pace, is 125 pounds over weight, and now thinks he's all that and then some. The position he filled was an assistant to the front end manager. He and another, a woman in her 40s, split the position because the boss didn't want to choose and cause a problem with whomever didn't get it. So, he's making all sorts of mistakes, not following the rules set by corporate and blaming the woman. It's a definite shitshow. But, I'm surprised he messed with me given he knows how I am and won't hold back. Through the years, I've asked, begged the store manager to fire me. One day I told him I quit and he refused to accept it. hahahaha No one in that store gets more compliments from customers than I do. That's not bragging, it's just fact. The boss will never fire me. This kid doesn't get that . . . yet. lol He couldn't wait to tell other dept mgrs about it all but when they came to me and I told them the truth, they went back to him and told him to cool his jets. He has an anger mgt problem and has, on more than one occasion, tried to intimidate other younger girls to tell him stuff that goes on and they've refused and reported him for it. I think his days are gonna be numbered.

well: my KFC was good- really enjoyed it

I can't say food will be as good tonight, it's my own cooking- fish sticks, and despite them being frozen I can't cook them to save my life

rainy and stormy today, been sorting out my grocery list for next week

I also treated myself to some new dvds from amazon, the complete young sheldon and the fresh prince of bel air

Good morning everyone! I hope you are all having a great Wednesday so far. Forever Sunshine, that is just NUTS! Hope you are right about his days being numbered. Beautiful one here, blue skies and bright sunshine. Still on pins and needles with our cat Cloudy. Can't seem to get her blood sugar stabilized but she seems a bit better today so fingers crossed. Not really sure what we will be doing today, depending on Cloudy we might take the boat out for a bit. Also need to get a boneless Pork Shoulder on the smoker so we'll see. I'll be around to play on and off!

   Glad the day of work is over. Just relaxing a bit after doing the mountain of dishes I let accummulate. UGH Not sure what dinner's going to be but not in the mood to cook a big dinner.

justbec, I hope his days are numbered too but our boss seems to be snowed by him. She continually makes excuses for him while blaming others for his crap. She was in today and he, of course, was on his best behavior. I honestly don't see him being let go. So, I'll just ignore him and do my thing. lol

It's such a gorgeous day here today. Lots of sunshine, a nice breeze and temps near 80. Tomorrow more rain.

sat here waiting for my delivery of the fresh prince on DVD. when it arives, probably going to spend most of the day watching it

Good morning all! It has been a successful day here! We were able to catch the female feral cat and get her to the vet to be fixed. She has had like 8 litters and we have 6 of her babies already. So her baby days will be over. We will pick her up later today or tomorrow morning. Cloudy is doing better but won't sleep. We have a call into the Vet for her now to see if we can give her anything to relax her. Other than that, well just another day in Paradise. Hope you are all having a fantastic day!
