"When I first met Mojo online, I spent more time in the dictionary than I have since my school days"
Me too, FS! lol There should be "Cliff Notes" just on Mojo's posts here. he he That way I wouldn't have to re-read his posts and take notes every time!!

Tuesdays with Morrie & Have a Little Faith by Mitch Albom Both wonderfully inspiring, well written, heartfelt & life changing true stories. You can't read these & not have your mind, heart & soul changed for the better.

I seriously doubt that this is going to be one of my favorite books. I just found out a few days ago that Fareed Zacariah's new political book is the choice for next month. Not only does it not appeal to me at all, book club is next Wednesday night and I don't even have a copy of the book yet. I told the host that I might come to socialize but that there was no way I was going to have that book read.

FS--I feel the same way about Mojo. I find his posts fun and/or stimulating. There aren't many posters I can say that about. And some of them were considered trolls (Pppffffttt for instance on MSNBC). My favorite poster of all time had to leave the MSNBC boards for health reasons - Hepburn. She was really an incredible woman. She and JR Brown used to have some knock down drag out brawls that were sheer joy to read. I agree, Peg, very few posters challenge me any more and are a joy to read. I sure wish we could get some of the more stimulating ones to join us. I seem to have lost my art to converse somewhere between the old MSNBC board and moving to the next one. I think I just got tired of being harassed and run into the ground. LOL

Mojo does love stimulating conversation but he does like to chat too. When I first met Mojo online, I spent more time in the dictionary than I have since my school days. LOL I love that he challenges me. We had a poster like him, they called him Airtrooper, i had my head in a dictionary more than any other book. Some of the words i would wonder whether he had made them up, or they were swear words that i had never heard off. He has stopped posting after they shut our boards down. he is either lost in the ether, or run out of big words. ;D

It's really sad that we lose so many good posters every time we change venues.

You can't read these & not have your mind, heart & soul changed for the better. I love Mitch Albom books, skysmom. I haven't read Have a little Faith yet but it's on my list right after I finish the Sherlock Holmes continuation series that Peg recommended. Mitch really hits you in the heart.

When you read it's obvious they are written from his heart & soul...can't help but have a profound affect on the reader's as well. Both books touched me deeper than words can ever say and had a profound affect on my perspective of life. I promise...you won't be disapointed!

Both books made me laugh, cry, ponder life and experience the whole gamut of emotions...and both had a profound affect of the most positive nature on my mind, heart & soul...two of the best reads ever IMO. That is if you favor & enjoy that type of reading.

nanna- -I've been a Nora Roberts fan until recently. :-/I got tired of her excursions into the supernatural. >:(Another of my favorites Jayne Ann Krentz has gotten heavily into psychic and I'm getting tired of it. I prefer straight up stories, no gimmicks. Mystery - - J.A. Robb (aka Nora Roberst) I have the whole series. Love 'em.

So I'll bring cake, too, if Forever ever accepts it. I was hoping the weapon she chose was gonna be something like sassy rhetoric - but cake knives might now be an option too (in your honor, of course).
