I dont believe in labels we all give ourselves. Can you imagine living in a world without labels?
But, how would you know what size you're buying or what something is on the shelves at the grocery stores without labels?

Some labels are a MUST or else we'll be screwed up.

If someone came along and changed the meanings of certain words in the English language, the labels would mean something totally different.

Well Dom, I can relate to my own life experiences. I have taught children with different abilities and they are found to be in sets. Set 1 usually consists of brighter pupils and Sets 4/5 consist of SEN or lazy pupils that need motivating. To make the teaching easy for the teachers pupils are hence labelled. I have my own views re setting and classing but there are many examples where labels are necessary.

Friendship is not about who came first or who cares the most. It is all about who came in your life and never left.

In everyone's life, at some time, our inner fire goes out. It is then burst into flame by an encounter with another human being. We should all be thankful for those people who rekindle the inner spirit

“When we honestly ask ourselves which person in our lives mean the most to us, we often find that it is those who, instead of giving advice, solutions, or cures, have chosen rather to share our pain and touch our wounds with a warm and tender hand. The friend who can be silent with us in a moment of despair or confusion, who can stay with us in an hour of grief and bereavement, who can tolerate not knowing, not curing, not healing and face with us the reality of our powerlessness, that is a friend who cares.” ― Henri J.M. Nouwen, The Road to Daybreak: A Spiritual Journey
