Sometimes, but usually not! So many buildings I view as historical get torn down or gorgeous farmlands sold to build houses when so many sit empty in other areas of towns.

FS--That's why I belong to the National Trust for Historic Preservation. They have a monthly magazine about restoration projects, those places threatened, places restored. Just recently, we added land to the Gettysburg battlefield that was going to used to build a Wal-mart on.
