Sparkle, Sel's was the best of the best. She lived in Port Stanley on the Falkland Islands, was an art teacher and she wrote a cookery book of Falkland type food with a little history of each dish thrown in. She also designed their new postage stamps last year. In fact our Sel's was well known all over the world and was very much loved by everyone, even though most of us never met her, we all felt as though she was a part of our families. I know I speak for all the posters in the PR room when I say losing Sel's is like losing a sister, or the best friend we ever had.

I used to speak to Sels from time to time, we had a little game going on between us about the Argy-Bar gees and the oil found off the coast in the Falklands--i used to send her any information i heard about oil found in case she had not heard i played the part of a Russian and she also her name was Boris, we had quite a few laughs, she cottoned on to it and played along, nothing was said between us about playing the part--she was a lady of quick wit and quite a good photographer to boot SELS YOU ARE GOING TO BE SADLY MISSED R.I.P. SORRY BUT I CANNOT DO PICTURES EITHER

I barely knew Sels so I appreciate the information that you provided, who. It does sound as if she was an exceptional lady and I'm sorry that I never got to know her. I hope that she liked peonies.
May she rest in peace.

May she rest in peace. Suss, Sel's loved all flowers, I have seen some of her art work she was brilliant, the stamps she designed were outstanding. I was looking on her face book, there are hundreds of messages from people all over. Sel's has left a gap in this world that will never be filled.

I was very sorry to hear of Sels passing. I had not spoken with her since before the US News boards shut down. But she was always very sweet and incredibly kind when we did. It's so very sad when we lose someone and who meant so much to so many - but has to make you smile to see how positive her effect was on those people as well. To Sels and those who loved her and the lives she touched ... .

I don't think I knew Sels, but I'd certainly seen her name on the boards... I can see that a lot of people loved her, and have been left sad by her passing... I don't what to say except I'm sorry for those who knew her.

It's so very hard to remember you, sels. It hurts. However, I know I'll never forget you. None of us will. You touched each of us with your uniqueness, your kindness, and your joy. Thank you.
