My first son started into orthodontics at 8. That was a mistake. For my other two, they won't go anywhere near an orthodontist until they are 14.

I knew a kid who had most of his rotten teeth pulled, and left the dentists and ate 4 bags of crisps ( potato chips ).
Nice eh ?

Kids in braces at 11 years. I was in braces before then, mother wouldn't allow us boys to wear a belt. Stopped wearing braces though when i started work at 14, never had braces since.

We couldn't afford a dentist and made our own braces out of fuse wire. Dad pulled all our teeth out with his pliers. The anesthetic was a good slug of poteen.

He also used his black and decker drill to do our fillings, and he fillled them with car body filler.

There's no need to be nasty, Andrew. I was just enlightening you to that which you were ignorant of. :-)

I've had brace once but it was for a year and a half. Horrible experience.
