Hi Dobie.
The South American jungles hide a rare and shy treasure of a tropical cat. The Margay is such an agile clmber that it can go headfirst down a tree like a squirrel? So click on the rain forest to help keep its habitat.

I do wish humans would concentrate on loving and protecting all humans, instead of meandering off on some infantile animal fantasy.
No offence but an animal has very limited emotional capability, it does not feel the things you think it feels, its responses are genetic and not a product of our consciousness, animals do not have consciousness.
A dog can not love in the true sense of the word, it needs humans to survive, the older it gets, the more it needs you, some call it loyalty or love.
It is just Darwinian survival, the neediest dogs survived, and the domesticated dog had genetically been selected by nature.
A cat has not been domesticated genetically as much as a dog, a domesticated cat does not need us the same, it has retained its ability to survive, that is why they display less loyalty and love.
It is oblivious to your emotions.
Sorry about that but humans are far more in need than animals.
A dog and a cat are not even aware they exist, they don't feel human emotions, they are animals.

You can train a cat or a dog to do a few tricks and understand a few words, but it still hasn't a clue what the noises out of our mouths even represent. If you make a funny face to a cat or a dog, it just does not compute, that is how low their awareness levels are. People are suggesting that cats and dogs are operating at a level bordering on consciousness, when their brains are missing the components for higher consciousness.
An animal operates at a genetic level with very limited awareness, do not confuse animal instinct with human emotion.

Click on the link and see.....At GreaterGood Network, we do our best to raise awareness of good causes and to connect people every day with simple ways to make the world a better place. It is our charitable partners who do the heavy lifting — the ones who use the funds that your daily clicks and your shopping raise to accomplish the mission. GreaterGood.org greatergood.org
GreaterGood.org is an independent charitable organization devoted to addressing the health and well-being of people (particularly women and children), animals, and the planet. GreaterGood.org distributes funds generated through the GreaterGood Network of websites to the many charitable organizations responsible for implementing programs named on these sites. 100% of the funds generated through the GreaterGood Network pass through GreaterGood.org to our partner charities. GreaterGood.org has ultimate authority and discretion with regard to the distribution of its funds. All expenditures made are consistent with the exempt purposes of GreaterGood.org. About Mercy Corps www.mercycorps.orgMercy Corps helps people in the world's toughest places turn the crises of natural disaster, poverty and conflict into opportunities for progress. Driven by local needs and market conditions, our programs provide communities with the tools and support they need to transform their own lives. Our worldwide team of 3,700 professionals is improving the lives of 14.5 million people in more than 40 countries. For the past five years, we've allocated more than 89% of our resources directly to people in need. About Feeding America (formerly America's Second Harvest) www.feedingamerica.orgFeeding America (formerly America's Second Harvest) is the largest domestic hunger relief organization in the United States. Annually, they distribute more than one billion pounds of donated food and grocery product, supporting approximately 50,000 local charitable agencies and the operation of over 94,000 food programs that provide food assistance to more than 26 million hungry Americans, including eight million children and four million seniors each year. 99.3% of all donations received by Feeding America go directly towards feeding hungry people. About Millennium Promise www.millenniumpromise.orgMillennium Promise was founded in 2005 to support the achievement of the Millennium Development Goals — to halve extreme poverty in Africa by 2015. Millennium Promise works with impoverished communities, national and local governments, and partner organizations to implement high-impact programs aimed at transforming lives on the continent and engaging donor nations, corporations, and the general public in the effort. Our work is premised on the belief that, for the first time in history, our generation has the opportunity to end extreme poverty, hunger, and disease. Our flagship initiative, the Millennium Villages, now operating in 80 villages across 10 countries in sub-Saharan Africa, takes a comprehensive approach to addressing extreme poverty. By combining the best scientific and local knowledge, Millennium Villages address all the major problems simultaneously — hunger, disease, inadequate education, lack of safe drinking water, and absence of essential infrastructure — to assist communities on their way to self-sustainable development. The project is already producing remarkable results. Millennium Promise also plays a leading role in mobilizing the private sector to find solutions to key problems that contribute to extreme poverty in Africa, like malaria which kills more than one million people every year. About Save Darfur Coalition www.savedarfur.orgThe Save Darfur Coalition is an alliance of over 100 faith-based, humanitarian and human rights organizations. Their mission is to raise public awareness and to mobilize an effective unified response to the atrocities that threaten the lives of two million people in the Darfur region of Sudan. About The ONE Campaign www.one.orgThe ONE Campaign is an effort by Americans to rally Americans – one by one – to fight the emergency of global AIDS and extreme poverty. ONE is students and ministers, punk rockers and NASCAR moms, Americans of all beliefs and every walk of life, united to help make poverty history. The ONE Campaign derives its name from the belief that allocating an additional one percent of the U.S. budget toward providing basic needs like health, education, clean water and food would transform the futures and hopes of an entire generation in the world's poorest countries. We also call for debt cancellation, trade reform and anti–corruption measures in a comprehensive package to help Africa and the poorest nations beat AIDS and extreme poverty. The goal of ending poverty may seem lofty, but it is within our reach if we take action together as one.

Born to wander, the peregrine falcons' amazing migration routes may take them from North America's chilly tundra to the heart of South America.
