Well, it's a tough call....did he dope?? I would guess he did.
I don't know what proof they have - but why is he not fighting anymore, if he didn't??

He's not fighting any more because he's already made his name in the sport and his career is over. He's retired. What does it matter. People don't view doping in sports any more like they did years ago. To the general public, it's acceptable.

He passed ALL of his drug tests. I think he should sue them for Defamation of Character.

There are ways to pass drug tests.

Of course there are. I am not saying he is innocent or guilty. But, they had YEARS of his career to take him to task. It is their responsibility to make sure the athletes are clean. He passed so he deserves the presumption of innocence. This is nothing more than slander and rumors. I hope he gets a highpowered attorney and sues the snot out of them.

He's not going to sue....He stopped fighting because there was no "win" situation. He is instead going to focus on his Live Strong charity and cancer research foundation. He didn't want to expose his former teammates to investigation and have their careers stripped like his was. He may not be on the books as the greatest cyclist ever anymore, but everyone still knows that he is the greatest cyclist ever.

Yes, he is. And, he put the sport on the map for many people. And, he brought attention to the sport. If they are going to wipe out his records, then all those involved should pay back any money earned off his back as well.
