There have been an explosion of sweeteners released on the markets of the western world. Much of this due to the higher incidents of diabetes due to the influx of the richer, unhealthy diets of the west. What are your favorite sweeteners, and how do you use them?
I like honey. In my tea.

I don't use sweeteners on anything. But I do use sugar in my coffee.

I also use the yellow stuff. I keep close control on my diet. It makes training more effective.

The poll you started is showing black for me! Is it you too? Not sure why it would do that.

OK, I see what's going on with it now. It's taking on the color of whatever the table border is depending on the skin being used. I'll have to see if there's a way to separate that so the poll is visible no matter what skin's being used.
Thanks WS

What's all the coloured stuff btw?
I like honey too - any natural sugars will do fine.
Some sugar substitutes are lethal than sugar itself.

Pink stuff - Sweet'N Low, contains saccharin. Derived from coal tar and is created using ammonia, chlorine, anthranilic acid, sulfur dioxide and nitrous acid.
Blue stuff - Equal or Nutra-sweet, contains aspartame. Derived from two amino acids.
Yellow stuff - Splenda contains Sucralose. Derived from sugar.“Sucralose is manufactured, using a patented multistep process in which 3 hydrogen-oxygen groups on the sugar (sucrose) molecule are selectively replaced with 3 chlorine atoms. Sucralose starts with sugar and tastes like sugar, but it’s not sugar.”

Organic cane sugar, organic black strap molasses for certain things, no artificial sweeteners. ^^^ They are indeed very tasty, IIF. I would eat many sugar canes as dessert when young. I miss such a pleasure.

That is such a vulgar looking photo. He needs to stay away from sweets look at the complexion!
When I was very young about nine living in NYC we use to go to the Puerto Rican bodegas to get a big sugar cane. They were almost as tall as I was. We would break them up among all of us an chew on them for hours.
