Oh brother! The only reason he's doing this is to try to compete again. I hope all sponsors turn their backs on him.

I've no time whatsoever for them.

Why? What's wrong with 'em?

Maybe the problem is with addiction alone and of any kind. Addiction and mental illness are linked, Dom.
I actually feel sorry for those whose lives are controlled by the abuse of substances.

What was the point of Lance going on to confess his sins anyway? Seems pretty stupid. Why not let sleeping dogs lie?

He's trying to get back in to compete and get endorsements.
Besides, all the politicians have to do to be accepted is confess . . . why not Lance!

I don't believe he is planning to compete again. He is too old to compete and he is past that. I think that he truly feels he needs to come clean and that is fine. But, he has no real chance to recover and it is going to destroy his Livestrong foundation as well.

No, there was speculation by a bunch of analysts that he's gonna make a comeback. He's not too old, if he's in great shape.

Well could be. I just don't see it. And, i am sure they will not allow him to compete in that race again.

" One of Mr. Armstrong's goals is to lay the groundwork for USADA to consider allowing him to compete in elite triathlons, the three-discipline sport he had taken up after retiring from cycling in 2011."

Armstrong is 42 yrs old. Does anyone including him seriously believe he is going to compete with 25 yr olds? Sorry, that ain't happening.

I think it's highly possible. However, who's gonna trust he's not using again

I think it's highly possible. However, who's gonna trust he's not using again That is my point. I doubt any racing organization is going to let him in anyway. And, sorry, there are realities to a 40+ yr old body that he is not going to be able to overcome. Youthful vigor is going to win out in athletics.
