I guess it's the weekend to buy some of the new dvd's/blue ray movies out there.
We also bought The Hobbit. Well we already have the Lord Of The Rings trilogy . . so of course we had to buy The Hobbit. (they did that backwards, as the hobbit was the first book.)
I guess they are making The Hobbit into a trilogy now as well. That means two more movies that tell the beginning of the story.
I have a shortened version of my favorite quote from the movie under my avatar.
There wasn't room for the full quote. The full quote is this:
It is not great power that holds evil in check. I have found that it is small things. Every day deeds of ordinary folk that keeps the darkness at bay; simple acts of kindness and love.

We watched The Hobbit a couple of weeks ago. I loved LOTR and loved this too. Bilbo is an average performance but some of the dwarfs were interesting. Beautifully shot in NZ as before.

This is the great mill in tolkiens book, it's sarehole mill, i live a short walk from there, i used to play in there as a kid, it was derelict then and in moseley bog and bloody scary when it started getting dark, it's where tolkien got his idea's for his book
