I just saw an article about it online. An MIT campus officer is down also and has been taken to Mass. General Hospital. According to the article the suspect is still on the loose. I agree steff more death and destruction. Just one more shooting spree to add to the growing list. I wonder how many will be shot before the suspect gets caught or kills himself? Also since a campus police officer was shot, and campus officers are armed at every college that has them, the uber gun nuts cant say the shooter picked a "gun free zone" . Campus officers at the various colleges near me all tend to be well armed and most wear some kind of body armor vests. I imagine MIT's officers are as equally well armed and wearing vests. So if the officer got put down by the suspect its a good bet that the shooter is armed well and/or better than the officer.

Ok so now the latest reports are that the shootout at MIT last night was the suspects in the boston marathon bombings. Now one is dead. I agree with mox the other one will kill himself or suicide by cop. This whole mess is starting to resemble an episode of 24. Of course if it was an episode of 24, Jack would have prevented the marathon bombings and killed both terrorists by now.
