I have almost every gadget known to man except this one. Now that our KFC has closed there is nowhere to get good fried chicken so i will have to learn to make it. I made some in the skillet last week but i think a deep fryer would be cool.

Yes you will love it. You do need to make sure you change the oil regular though otherwise they can smell.

I like a deep fryer for my homemade crab rangoon. I make it once every 10 years or so...

Just do it. You'll find so many other things to use it for other than just frying chicken.

I got one for a wedding shower gift and I still have it, but I don't use it often. I bake and broil these days only because I try to stay away from fried stuff.

I don't have one, Fuzz, but I've been checking them out, too. I just need something small since it's just me here but I regularly fry chicken, fish (whole filets or cut up in bit size), fries all the time, cheese sticks, veggies, chips . . . The possibilities are endless. Course I'm sure my veins are a bit clogged from it but all things in moderation. LOL

I have a Philips air fryer, it's a lot healthier than a deep fat fryer. You can do all things with it that you can in a deep fat fryer just using half a tablespoon of oil, in some instances no oil at all.

I got a kick out of the SuperMac's over in Europe. ;D I didn't eat in one, but I thought it funny that they served fish and chips and full breakfasts.

Mox, it is awesome, I've found you only need the oil for things like chips and roast potatoes, sausages, chicken pieces and any other meat you'd deep fry don't need oil at all. If you do get one just experiment with it, I did and it's great.Just adding a P.S here, you don't need to struggle with the drawer like this chap did. You simply take the drawer all the way out before removing the basket.

I have everything and rarely use them, but this is something I know I would use. Hmmmm.....now how do I convince my husband that this will not just end up in the closet along with many other rarely used small appliances? Bad you! Miss who! LOL! ;D

What the Mini Cooper car ? they seemed to have lost their way since being bought out by B.M.W. each new model seems to be getting bigger and bigger, makes a mockery out of the name MINI, i mean skirts can only remain a mini skirt up to a certain length, then they are just skirts
