I still want an Avalanche! I LOVE those trucks, but I am not sure about the Chevy brand.

Mox, it is awesome, I've found you only need the oil for things like chips and roast potatoes, sausages, chicken pieces and any other meat you'd deep fry don't need oil at all. If you do get one just experiment with it, I did and it's great.Just adding a P.S here, you don't need to struggle with the drawer like this chap did. You simply take the drawer all the way out before removing the basket. OMG! I want one so bad! I should have never watched this, who! I have everything and rarely use them, but this is something I know I would use. Hmmmm.....now how do I convince my husband that this will not just end up in the closet along with many other rarely used small appliances? Bad you! Miss who! LOL! ;D
You simply tell him there's been an outbreak of high cholesterol in the neighbourhood. Of pandemic proportions, and the Philips airfryer will make sure he doesn't catch it.

My deep fryer messes up the kitchen too much. Everything above it gets greasy. It's like the steam and heat as it rises, carries the oil too.

Yeah, it does get messy. And, then your house smells like a fast food joint.
