Toys For Tots Local food pantry Local homeless shelter A donation to a Veterans organization St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital Local humane society Anonymous gift cards sent to family/friends/neighbors/others in need (ie. cancer patients). And lastly, I would stand behind several different people in a store and randomly pick up the tab for their holiday food and/or gift purchases.

Reminds me of the ‘Soup Nazi’ episode on Seinfeld.

Simple, I would give it to the Salvation Army, they help the down and outs. Then there is the Charity for the Blind, my mother was blind for 65 years, after falling the Day Germany capitulated in 1945, the fall blinded her. No blind dog, but she got a talking book every week plus a cassette with all the local news. Then there is the Charity for the Ex Service men, we donate to all three. We had 13 of our family in the Forces during WW2, we were lucky I suppose, 12 Uncles and Cousins survived that War. Just saying.

Our local domestic abuse shelter.
Easy choice for me as they have 100% volunteer workers.
I have donated to them a few times in the past.
They have no administrative expense and just about every dime goes to those who need.
