My one sister was a drama queen and a Chatty Cathy (the family gossip who changes the story and embellishes it along the way), still is and it causes problems within the family. Even her teachers said she talked too much in class. My other sister was a troublemaker and still is (my poor folks, what she put them through all the way into adulthood). I blocked her on my phone a week ago, I refuse to put up with her nonsense and so do the others. She’s just a miserable person and not very nice to others. My brothers, mostly liked to party back in the day. Played football and hockey. They grew up in their adult years. Unlike my sisters, I get along with all of them and would have their backs in a heartbeat! My youngest brother is most like me... normal in every way. Unfortunately, he lives the furthest away and I am lucky to see him even once a year. He is so kind and generous, like my parents, he would do anything for anyone and not expect a thing in return. His second wife is great too! Love my sister-in-law!

My brother was a self centered brat who constantly teased me. Horrid being! He is gone now.

Awwww...sorry, Blue. You had only one sibling? Was he older or younger than you? Was he nicer to you in adulthood?

My one sister is probably going to be living in a cardboard box out on the street if she doesn’t change her ways, and to be honest, I think that is just what she needs. She needs to hit rock bottom. I hate to say it, but she won’t be getting any help from me. Tough love!! I refuse to be an enabler! Her issues go way back...she is definitely the black in our family. She has yet to ‘own’ her past mistakes and blames everyone but herself!

I was the middle of 5 brothers, two older, two younger.
I didn't have a childhood/young adulthood, you would want to reminisce on.
For a home life anyway.

I tried pot, but wasn’t a huge fan. Very short-lived. Nothing beyond that either, although I still think I was slipped something when I had my back turned at a party one time and I was not happy about it! I remember seeing things in ‘segments’ for awhile, like a cartoon strip...that is the only way to describe it. Nothing traumatic happened to me, but I remember not liking the feeling at all. What would that have been? I have no clue.

Drinking and drugs always seemed like escapism from life for me.
Kind of like a little death, or running away from everything.

You could have easily gone that route though, so good for you that you didn’t! 👍 I am sure your girlfriend/wife was who you escaped to. ❤️ And then there was the roller skating rink...

My parents would say I was probably the least problematic one in the bunch! lol I was very shy, worked hard, and did what I was told to do. I think I remember one or two times when I had words with my folks growing up. *One time was when my Chatty Cathy sister told my mom that I called her the b word behind her back... I will admit that I called her a w-itch, but NOT the other word!
