Is there a #MeToo movement for those who suffered from brothers who tickled them to near death?

The Chatty Cathy sister was the one who ran around to all of the neighbors to announce that her little sister got her first bra, a 32AA. She is such a GOSSIP!!

Were you and your brothers close, Dio, or did they tickle you until you almost suffocated?!? They were mean, except for the youngest one. We were inseparable, until our mid twenties. Then he started drugs/drinking. I saved his life once when he tried to commit suicide. Found him unconscious, just by luck of timing. Haven't seen any of my brothers face to face in 40 years. Just Christmas cards and notes in them once a year. I find out any family happenings from my cousin I used to play with when I was a kid.

Awww...sorry, Dio. Sometimes you just have to let certain family members go as it is just not healthy to hold on to certain relationships. I feel bad about it, but I just cannot deal with their issues and don’t feel I should have to at this point in my life. They made their choices and only they can fix it. The way I see it...if you haven’t figured things out by your sixties, chances are you never will. These are the years I want to enjoy, I just can’t deal with the baggage of a few others. I am happy in my life and I plan to keep it that way. Does your wife come from a big family?

Awww @diogenes23, sorry! I have a brother who I broke ties with a couple of years ago. Should've done it sooner but, @mox, is right. Sometimes it's just not healthy to try and hang on to family or "friends" who are toxic. Life is just too short to have to deal with it daily!

We can't pick our parents, they didn't do anything about it. It was a toxic situation not fixable by a kid in the middle of it. I moved away from home the day I turned 18 and could rent an apartment.

Best thing I ever did for myself!
