and no maple syrup on crab cakes! this was a topic on talk radio station i listen to... a while back. people called in about odd food combos they eat or have friends/family who eat. i like a touch of ketchup on my scrambled eggs. some people don't... and they're just wrong!! now think about this before you YUCK! someone called in and said they put ketchup on French toast! if you like ketchup on scrambled eggs, it makes perfect sense. French toast is not at all sweet. just bread (stale holds up better) soaked in beaten eggs and fried in a little butter. it's scrambled eggs & toast in a different form. do you or friends have a strange food combo?

Yuck to ketchup on anything other than pre-cut (frozen) french fries! If they're fresh hand cut then no ketchup! My oldest brother loves ketchup on his scrambled eggs but not on dippies!
I'll have to think on this as to what I like that's strange. The only thing I can think of is pretzels in ice cream but that's no longer strange to many.

My dad used to eat peanut butter and horseradish sandwiches. My son liked French fries dipped in honey. I like pizza dipped in ranch dressing. I have to stick my cup or bowl of ice cream in the microwave for approximately 15-20 seconds just to make it soft enough to eat, but not melted. I don’t like it hard right out of the carton. So yummy when it is just slightly soft!!

I must have more muscles than you since you take the easy way out with the microwave!

Besides, I don't own a microwave any more. Haven't for years.
