The only thing I have pondered is whether we have 30 days worth of food here. We do. I did eye two nice sized bucks out of the window this morning...just in case I am FORCED to eat venison as a last resort.

We are getting on a plane in a few weeks too. I’ll have hand sanitizer and antibacterial wipes on me. Not planning on wearing a mask though.

i wish there was more broadcast on preparing for the worst. not much of an alarmist, but would kinda like to know "worst case scenario". i can't even begin to imagine what some people will be like if quarantined!

I am doing as much preparation as I did for Bird Flu and Swine flu. Which equates to none.

Regular influenza has killed over 16,000 people in the US just this season so far. Corona has killed approx 3,200 worldwide.

The media is over-hyping and I will not overly worry about it.

I ain't bothered about the Coronavirus, many many years an old Gypsy Woman told me I will live to be 92 years old. Well, I have just had my 88th birthday two days ago, so I still have 4 more years to go. Don't think that the Coronavirus will be around that long, anyway, you have to believe a Gypsy, don't you. I don't think they would lie about something like that. Just saying.

The World Health Organization puts the mortality rate at 3.4 %

Mostly the young and old as being the highest risk.

It is very contagious and I would not be very surprised if they are unable to contain it.

The mortality rate for the flu is .095% for a comparison.

Thanks, mom! lol I wash my hands all the time. With handling money all day, it's a must. It's amazing how dirty money is and how grey the water is when I'm washing them. Yuck! I refuse to use hand sanitizer. It stinks and gives me a headache. Not to mention it really dries out my skin. And, it's not good for you and does no good against viruses.
