Pretty much everything is closed or cancelled here. Even the State run Liquor stores are closing. We were at the liquor store less than an hour after it was announced on Saturday. The lines were crazy and wrapped around the store. Yesterday, they were wrapped around the building.

Stopped at Casey's right now for coffee, and they have taken away the chairs by the tables.
I'm texting from the car.
They closed the fitness center at the hospital too, yesterday.
Well, I got the motor oil and transmission oil changed on the DW's car, since everything is closed.
Today ? Changing the transmission and rear axle oil on the truck.
Going to be 'worky' for a while, around the ole' homestead.

We ended up spending about $300 to overstock the liquor cabinet

We are back several days early after driving 17+ hours straight. I flew out as scheduled, but hubby canceled his round trip and I canceled my return. He then drove out and then we drove back together. Kids had to cancel their European vacation, but I stayed anyways and then hubby joined me as planned for at least some family time. I am tired...more to come. Good to be home. I was sick while there with the symptoms you have all read about, but not bad enough to go to the hospital. I think it was more allergies to their pets. No body aches, no fever, no real malaise...more congestion and slight cough. I wore a mask on the way back when we stopped only quickly to use bathroom and get gas...more to protect others as I am eleven days in from the start of it. No worries though, the roads and stopping places were like being in ghost towns...no people to really speak of. No one else was ill while we were there.

I am having a lazy day today. Hubby just ran to the store for a few essentials, but we did an inventory of meat, veggies, etc. in the freezer, and have more than 30 days worth of complete meals for sure. We are not hoarding or overbuying anything. People are going crazy! I just called my immunocompromised siblings, friends, and elderly neighbors to let them know we are back home in case they need anything, but I also told them I have a cold so I do not want to expose them to anything either. They appreciated the call anyways, and it sounds like they are well-stocked with the essential things. We are going to get out for a walk before dinner...sunny, but cool here. Fresh air sounds really good right now! Going to unpack, do some laundry, and sanitize with Lysol. Started a good book, so I am going to read a bit too. Have a good Sunday, all. Stay safe and healthy. 💐 *fritz, You okay?

Pennsylvania grocery store loses estimated $35K in food after woman's 'twisted' coronavirus prank, co-owner saysUSA Today March 25, 2020 A grocery store in northeastern Pennsylvania had to throw away an estimated $35,000-worth of products after a woman went through the store coughing on food in what the store's co-owner called a "twisted prank." The incident happened Wednesday at the Gerrity's Supermarket in Hanover Township, according to a post on the small chain's Facebook page. Co-owner Joe Fasula said a the woman "came into the store and proceeded to purposely cough on our fresh produce, and a small section of our bakery, meat case and grocery." Fasula said the estimated value of the lost food is "well over $35,000." He added police are investigating and the district attorney's office is involved. Fasula added efforts are being made to have the woman tested for coronavirus, though she is not believed to be infected.’ SHE DOES NOT DESERVE A VENTILATOR!

moonshine should be legal during these tough times! NJ liquor stores are on the "essential" list... because we don't have beer distributors? i can't say i get that. niece checks up on me every day or so... something on FB that includes her holding some sort of alcoholic beverage or decadent confection. isn't it gonna be a pisser if they find that booze and desserts are the cure!?!
have only been OUT anywhere 2-3 times in past almost 3 weeks. have made a few really quick runs thru Aldi (and liquor store) for stuff.
was drinking something a few days ago and it went "down the wrong pipe"... coughing fit. i'm imagining upstairs neighbor hearing THAT!!
have to walk to corner to check mail ans toss trash into dumpsters. my sleep cycle is beyond FUBAR. have strong feeling that typical, in a classroom school will NOT resume this year.

Having food delivered. That's a good idea. Last time I was in Wal-Mart, I had to cough a little to clear a crowded aisle.

Something I haven't heard before, urine being a good defence agains't the Coronavirus, if it was they wouldn't keep telling to wash your hands regularly. The sale of babies used napkins must be going up in the USA then. Just saying.
