Hank Williams Jr. issued an apology on Tuesday, one day after ESPN pulled his introductory song for Monday Night Football after the singer used an analogy involving Adolph Hitler and President Barack Obama to make a political point.
Williams, in a statement posted on Facebook and his website Tuesday, said that his passion for politics and sports "got the best or worst of me."
In an interview Monday on Fox News' "Fox & Friends," Williams, unprompted, said of Obama's outing on the links with House Speaker John Boehner: "It'd be like Hitler playing golf with (Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin) Netanyahu."

Mucho adooo bout nutin. However, I was at a Hank Williams jr show once. Some guy tried climbing up on the stage. He got two hands and one knee there when a security guy, kicked him back off the stage and two more security guys came. They spent about 3 minutes kicking the guys ribs and head until he was bloody. Then he was dragged away. I don't think Hank has a problem with Hitler's Gestapo methods.

I was expecting the worst when I first heard about Hank Williams's comment involving Hitler and Obama. I dreaded that it would be another idiotic direct comparison between the two men. Fortunately, after reading what Mr. Williams actually said, it was just an analogy and wasn't meant to put Obama in Hitler's shoes. Oddly, I'm relieved that it really is much adoo about nothing.

Mr. Williams seems to have lost his job on ESPN.
Mebbe he should stick to singing hokey songs, instead of stating honkey slurs?
Wouldn't be the first celebrity to open his mouth and show his azz .....
Amazing anatomy some of these folks have. ;D
