I recently bought Sizzling Sixteen. It liked the first chapter but I've been having trouble concentrating on reading anything again. I reserved Smokin' Seventeen at the library. I'm about 550 down so I should have some time to read the sixteenth book first.

sus--I've been have trouble concentrating on reading too. I've got at least 6 books stacked, waiting for me to finish a paperback I started a month ago by one of my favorite authors. <sigh>

I'd like to laugh about being "too busy" to read or something like that but the reality is that I miss being able to lose myself in an entertaining book. I liked the feeling I used to have that the time had been well-spent.

C-Span has authors of non-fiction books talking about their books every weekend. Very interesting programs.

I used to watch those interviews on C-Span regularly, Coldwarrior. I got away from it during the last presidential election when I began to consume cable news channels. Then, I got sick of cable news and started watching movies on weekends. I haven't seen a book interview on C-Span since.
