The second season of Young/Junior Apprentice has started. Is anyone watching it? What do you think about the programme and the idea of having children being open to business in such an environment?
Can you imagine firing children?

I've never heard of the show, Star! I'll have to look for it. What's it about?

I've never heard of the show, Star! I'll have to look for it. What's it about? Hey Sunshine, I would have imagined America too has their own version of The Apprentice? Do they have the Junior version there also? But for your information - Young Apprentice: introductionlink - www.bbc.co.uk/pressoffice/pressreleases/stories/2011/10_october/18/young_apprentice.shtmlI actually remember devising an apprentice task for a group of pupils last year after Christmas and they thoroughly enjoyed it - though it was with baking and selling cakes and finding profits as to which cake was the best bet. I actually like the idea that children can get business skills and functional maths skills from such tasks. Like they can relate maths in situations they wouldn't think about doing before.
