Towards the end of last year, there was a recipe on here (I'm SURE it was on here!!) anyways, it was how to make a snack from a can of chick peas! Drying them off, sprinkle with er em what? cook at how high for how long, then enjoy a pick! I am a "mere male" treat me gently (if that's possible ) and the recipe called them some kinda BEANS! For gawd's sakes, the lady in Asda (Our WALMART) looked at me like I had grown three heads

BUFFALO CHICKEN DIP 2 (8 ounce) packages cream cheese, softened 1 cup ranch dressing 3⁄4 cup red hot sauce, (Frank's Buffalo) 1 (10 ounce) can chicken, drained (or equivalent shredded rotisserie or freshly-cooked, chopped chicken) Shredded cheddar cheese, you decide how much (optional) Fritos Scoops, Tostitos, celery sticks, carrots, crackers
DIRECTIONS Beat cream cheese, ranch dressing, and red hot sauce. Fold in shredded chicken. Spread mixture into pie plate sprayed with Pam. Bake at 350 degrees Fahrenheit for 15 minutes. Add cheddar cheese to top. Bake an additional 10 to 15 minutes. Serve hot with Fritos Scoops, etc.
*I am not fond of the canned chicken. Rotisserie or fresh cooked chicken is the best. Some say boiling the chicken is the best way to retain the flavor. *You could omit the cheddar cheese, and just bake the mixture for 25 minutes or so.
