So ... in England, do graze on the right or left side of the pasture? In America, graze on the right side which, of course, is the correct side for pasture grazing.

I think we are all lefties over here...... I definately am a lefty, voted Labour all my life, Oh to be in England now that Spring is here, and Summer, Autumn, and Winter, you can't beat it. The Irish think god favoured Ireland, because he gave it the Shamrock and was snake free. I think god looked at England and felt sorry for Ireland, so he compensated it with the Shamrock.

I like your first picture best, Spell. The scenery reminds me of Devon.

What part of England do you intend to visit Dom, if its Yorkshire, gods own county, i could probably point out some good hotels, or motels. If you intend to backpack there is lots of hostels in Yorkshire for backpackers, the city of York is a must to visit. Steeped in history.

spellbound, I love your pictures. England looks like a lovely and interesting country, of course steeped in history (my field so to speak). :DI have a favorite pictures thread over on the Flying Horse section from my neck of the states - New York States Finger Lakes region. Stroll over for a look sometime. And please, don't expect to see pictures of skyscrapers. That's New York City, about 300 miles southeast of me. :)Thank goodness.

Hello, Flying Horse:
So you're neck of the woods is the Finger Lakes region? I spent some time in Rochester (not too terribly far away) and I used to have relatives in the Waterloo/Seneca area. However, they have all passed away so I haven't been in the area for quite some time.
Small world, as they say.

8-)I've lived off and on in the Waterloo/Seneca area since 1973 (halfway between Cayuga and Seneca Lakes). My work took me away for a decade, but when I retired I came back. I really like this area even with the winters which just make spring all the sweeter.
