You couldnt get anything more abrasive than brillo which you've already used. It may of scratched the glass.

i would get a cotton bud with toilet cleaner on it, and clean a small area of the glass and see if that works.

The brillo didn't scratch the glass because I barely touched the glass with it. And it was a new pad loaded with cleaner yet.
I will give your idea try.

I wash my wine glasses and other good glasses by hand.

I'm pretty lazy. I cram everything into the dishwasher. If it's the china and nice glasses I just do less at a time.

I hand wash all my dishes so my advice is to hand wash the glasses and see if this helps.

Why waste money on a dishwasher? I'm married with three kids and I've always washed and dried by hand.
It's cheaper, more environmentally friendly AND they come up cleaner!

In my house the dishes are washed by me, my husband, my son and my eldest daughter. When she gets old enough my youngest girl will also wash the dishes.
It's what modern families do; share the workload.
The fifties housewife is (thank goodness) only a relic of history.
