Past expeditions to find conclusive evidence for the existence of Bigfoot have at least two things in common: They were unsuccessful, and they were ground-based.
That's why the Falcon Project will make history regardless of whether it achieves its goal of capturing "clear, steady film evidence of a Hominoid in its natural habitat."
Using a 45-foot-long, camera-mounted, remote-controlled airship, project founder William Barnes plans to work with a team that includes one scientist to conduct nighttime flyovers of reported Bigfoot hotspots around the United States.

Good luck with that. Despite decades of searching, in Russia, the US and Canada, there hasn't been ANY evidence of their existence. Not one piece of scat. Not one real footprint. Not one carcass. Not one bone. Not one hair. The hair they did find turned out to be moose. All they have is anecdotal evidence. Kind of like faith.

I'm pretty sure I saw a bigfoot once when I as camping. It stole some beer from me too.

I would think that after all the searching over the years that someone would have found something conclusive by now in the way of evidence of their existence.

The main problem with Crypto-zoological research with it being Bigfoot,Yeti and some Large Cats that have been reported in the UK such as the 'Bodmin Beast' is that they probably know your there before you know they are, with their life they depend on senses that ours have become dulled. Thing even like 'Stealth Balloon's' may be heard with an Attuned ear. I've only done one 'big cat' investigation at its quite un-nerving when you realise 'you' may also be watched !

You were lucky. Some people have been woken up with Bigfoot trying to get into their sleeping bag.

If i remember, wasn't there some talk about it being an Neanderthal ? Yes, there was a theory proposed some years back that bigfoot might be surviving members of the gigantopithecus genus of early ape. But of course there is no real proof to back it up. The general theory was that this genus of very large ape somehow managed to survive through the ice age and various climate changes, adapt to the differing climates, and managed to migrate from china and india to north america over what was the land bridge that connected russia to north america before it was covered by the bering strait. This theory was supposed to explain both the yeti and bigfoot. But no real credible evidence was found to support it.
