Oooh! I know! I'll send for Peter Popoff's Miracle Spring Water. It promises to put a crapload of money in my bank account, directly from God, by Divine Transfer. Looks like I may be going after all......

I would love to see Saltimbanco, by the Cirque du Soleil. It's playing its farewell show right here in their home town. They're retiring the show after this. I would kill to be able to go, but tickets are about $200. I just can't do it right now. In the past month alone, I've spent $1600 in car repairs and I still need to do Christmas shopping.
It's a tough time of year to try to do a concert or pay for tickets! Honestly, if it's something you'd really want, $200's not too bad I guess, particularly since they're retiring the show. It's a shame you can't come up with it, Welts.

I don't try to justify my purchases. If i want to do something, buy something or go somewhere and i have the funds, i go. Other people might think it is a waste of money, but it that is their opinion. If it is important to me, i do it.
I figure i need to take the opportunities if i can.

It's all pretty simple in my mind, a matter of wants and needs. If your needs have been met then do as you please with your funds. Problems arise for people who put their wants before their needs.

Normally I don't justify my purchases either but right now I have a few financial obligations that just wouldn't permit me to go and I couldn't justify taking from one thing to do it either so . . . no biggie. I'll live! ;D

Do you think that is a lot of money? How much should a concert cost? She puts on an entire show like a broadway show with sets, costumes, cast of dancers, and on and on. 300 dollars seems like a little much to me, but thats your girl so have fun.

I paid $300 for front row tickets in the lower level near the stage. The concert is in March. I will report back with the details. I have 3 other peeps going with me.
How was the concert? Was the $300 for all 4 tickets? Back in the early 1990's I took two of my grandchildren to see Jerry Lee Lewis, Chuck Berry and Little Richard at the Wembley Arena. The entire evening was a blast and cost £130 that's the tickets and hot dogs and other treats thrown in. My son, (Their dad) said it was too expensive and I was warping their minds with rock-n-roll. My parents used to say that to me, now I'm getting it from my kids.
