Runner beans, Rhubarb, Horseraddish,Rasberrys,---- 1 only Sunflower (well theres 3 actually, but all together) nearly as tall as me 5ft 10inches , it comes up to my nose, i planted them to show the G/children how things grow----or eaten by the pesky Slugs, and Snails, the beans have black-fly on them so i am spraying like crazy

I moved house earlier this year and am completely re-doing the back garden. Cutting down massive bushes and hedges, levelling the ground off and re-turfing etc. I have a herb garden - basil, parsley, mint, sage, lemon thyme, and oregano - which I frequently turn to in the kitchen. I like the passionflowers also because they're so weird. Pictures of passionflowersI try to include things for the bees and butterflies. The butterflies really dig the nasturtiums; there's always loads of caterpillars on them. Caterpillars rule!

Caterpillars only rule in the hearts of Butterflies, Crimsonian.
Seriously I am impressed and slightly envious of your gardens. I wish I was devoted to nature as yourself. You have a nice taste in flowers. My garden has not one flower or plant - not even artificial.
I have noticed a lot of 'Asians' from my side of the world neglect keeping and taking take of plants and flowers ...I suppose such things require love and time.

Yes, it can take time but it's good exercise, and it's satisfying to make a nice space for yourself to chill in the summer. Plants are fascinating.

Hehe, it will have to wait until next year now. Half the lawn is yet to be re-grassed. I've had to pause the work because it's gonna be freezing at night over the next week. Hoping for one more warm spell before Xmas to get it finished...

Spring hasn't sprung in my house yet starlight07 . It's postponed, by order of King Caterpie. I've got a few shoots coming up, but the grass was delayed by all the snow and ice we had.

I fell out of the back of a pickup in the Spring and broke my arm, so all I able to get planted was onions and 6 marijuana plants. I don't smoke the pot, but instead make butter out of it. I have extreme anxiety when on the highway (hubby drives) and it works much better than Xanax. Cheaper too.
