In Context Albert Einstein's work laid the groundwork for many modern technologies including nuclear weapons and cosmic science. After his death, Einstein's brain was removed and preserved for scientific research by Canadian scientists.
It was found that the part of Einstein's brain responsible for mathematical thought and the ability to think in terms of space and movement was 15% wider than average.
It also lacked a groove which normally runs through this region suggesting that the neurons were able to communicate.
In 1999 Albert Einstein was named "person of the century" by Time magazine.
"Where does that leave the laws of science"? ERM in the plastic bin in the corner ---well not all of his notes just some---

I don't believe in anything, especially atheism. ;D Actually, it seems the more we learn, the more we realize we don't, and can't, know everything. Which leads us inevitably back to religion to fill in the blanks. Mebbe we're happiest staying within our limits of understanding and enjoying our lives without wondering about what comes next.

Hello sgtjer,
lol, I did think atheism was another belief. A belief in the non-existence of deities.
That seems true and I wonder if anyone can know everything. I think perhaps genetics and the environment plays a role of what we learn or what knowledge we seek and that too of how much of it. It seems that there are factors and variables that exist which affects our thoughts and thinking. It can also be the more knowledge and education we seek, the previous knowledge and education becomes redundant so do we assume we were accepting lies then at that time? Does that mean the best bet is to be agnostic in everything and is that possible?
But only sometimes, I think.

Draconid Meteor Outburst Oct. 4, 2011
Forecasters say Earth is heading for a stream of dust from Comet 21P/Giacobini-Zinner. A close encounter with the comet's fragile debris could spark a meteor outburst over parts of our planet on October 8th.

the current trend continues, we may be in store for some cold weather in our future. Many scientists agree that a decrease in sunspot activity will translate to cooler weather here on earth.
There is a lag effect with the cause-and-effect of low sunspot numbers and cool weather. That affect, coupled with the current ‘La Nina’ underway in the equatorial Pacific ocean – affecting North America with colder weather this January, could be signaling a very cool Spring and Summer of 2011
SO WAS IT TRUE IN YOUR NECK OF THE WOODS ?? IF SO Hang on to your hollyhocks this winter

NASA Finds Earth-Size Planet Candidates In Habitable Zone, Six Planet System WASHINGTON -- NASA's Kepler mission has discovered its first Earth-size planet candidates and its first candidates in the habitable zone, a region where liquid water could exist on a planet's surface. Five of the potential planets are near Earth-size and orbit in the habitable zone of smaller, cooler stars than our sun.

Well it looks like the Boffins may have found "The Higgs Boson" which they lovingly call The God Particle ,but they recon that it will be next year and a few more calculations on the old pocket calculator will prove it
