I love watercolors mostly...landscapes, seascapes, florals. Wildlife prints too, birds, butterflies, nature scenes, mountains.

Monet is a favorite of mine. I like some Georgia O'Keefe, not so much southwestern though.

With antiquing and shopping for art...I can go into a place, look around fairly quickly and have something either catch my eye or not be at all what I am interested in. It doesn't take me long to find what I want. I don't spend a lot of time on it...it either catches my eye or it doesn't and then I move on. *Kind of like my old boyfriends. LOL ;D

If you know the song by Pink Floyd 'See Emily Play' This lady is considered to the the inspiration..known in those days all in the 'Underground scene' as the Psychedelic School Girl' Emily Young (born 1951) is a British sculptor. She is considered one of the foremost sculptors working in Britain today. She was born in London into a family of artists and writers. Her grandmother, Kathleen Scott, was a pupil of Auguste Rodin, and widow of the famous explorer Robert Falcon Scott, who subsequently married Emily's paternal grandfather, the politician and writer Edward Hilton Young, 1st Baron Kennet. Her father, Wayland Hilton Young, 2nd Baron Kennet, was also a politician and writer. Her uncle was the famous ornithologist, conservationist and painter, Sir Peter Scott.
