Jeepers Location: Carson, California Breed: 9 week old Domestic Long Hair
Our local pet store was holding adoptions when we showed up showed up to purchase a dog bed. Sitting at the bottom of this large cage I notice one single kitten mostly hidden in a cubby. When I went closer to take a better look, one of the workers told me that her last 2 brothers were adopted that morning. I noticed that her right eye was a little sticky. I knew with that eye no one would adopt this little black girl. My husband took a look and when he put his fingers to the cage she lowered her head and pressed it up to meet him. He told them we’ll take her. That night after a visit to the vet we had her de-wormed and received some cream for her eye. She is now a happy “talking” cuddling kitten.

Beleti-Nightshade Location: Baltimore, Maryland Breed: a 7 month old Gray Tabby
Beleti-Nightshade is a sweet little kitten who I stumbled upon by accident. She comes from a family of stray cats who live nearby my home. I went around to her family every day to bring them food and water. The mother just had another litter and Beleti and her sister were born. I went to help the mom with her babies and she always gave me little Beleti. Beleti soon saw me as her nanny. I helped Daisy (her mom) care for her babies then a local woman began helping me.
I took Beleti in after pleading to my mom. She’s my third rescue. She’s now in a warm home with a playmate. She sleeps right by my head every night. She is truly a kitten of great value. She’s always running around batting toys, Lady’s tail (my older cat) or your toes. She is literally a bundle of love just like her family. My mom and I are glad we took her in.

Sassy Location: Snellville, Georgia Breed: almost 2 and a half years old American domestic shorthair
This little girl was a year and 2 months old when we found each other at my local GSPCA. Her name was Lola (she didn’t look like a Lola to me) and she was surrendered when she got pregnant. She came into my house owning it! I am disabled, on crutches. Within the first couple of days, she was blocking my way down my hallway by flopping in front of me for a back and belly rub with my crutch. She trained me well!!
On our third day together her name just came out … Sassy, because she is such a sassy little girl. She will be 2½ in May and an indoor only cat but doesn’t seem to mind it. She is very loving, funny, and my constant companion.

Sherlock and Watson were six weeks old when they were adopted. They love to destroy things in my home, but I love them all the same. Sometimes they give each other hugs!

Princess Location: Breed: only 2 weeks old, abandoned domestic shorthair kitten
My Princess was cold and crying on my porch when I found her. I took her in, got her warm and started bottle feeding her. She is tiny and weighs less than 4 oz, but she is a fighter. The first 2 days she wouldn’t eat and she just slept, but we didn’t give up on her. We fed her and kept her warm and on day 3, she started moving around more but still wasn’t eating right. Day 4 ate a good batch in the bottle for a second then back to sleep. On day 5 (today) she is actively eating more (not much more) but no poop yet She is on the liquid kitten formula and only eating about 2 ml a day. I’m diluting it and put a couple drops of vegetable oil in it to help her poop. Fingers crossed

Luna Location: London, England Breed: an 8 week old Bombay kitten
Luna is a sweet, energetic and social girl who loves nothing more than chasing her rattling ball toys and munching on sandwich chicken! Her favorite sleeping location is the pile of cushions on the couch and she finds her own shadow completely fascinating!
