Beautiful, Tort. Love the colors.
I like the musk mallow too, Weltz. Very pretty. Are you over-run by it? No, because when I see new ones sprouting between my rose bushes, I yank them out. It breaks my heart, but it has to be done.

Hi there, we don't have the problem of Raccoons here, but Herons can be a problem, and Cats...a lot of people net their Ponds to keep the critters out....and oh the odd snake will cool down in the water in a hot summer.... you know sometimes we get herons fly over us, my neighbour purchased a couple of imitation ones, this is meant to be one way to keep others out of the garden , also another way thats meant to work is cut some pieces of garden hose and lay it in garden seems herons dont lant where they thick snakes are. just a thought for you all who have a prob maybe

Gonna sound really lame but I've never seen a poppy like that in my life.
Doesn't even look like a poppy but I'll take your word for it.
Amazing.

Our 'Queen Elizebeth Rose' just blooming now, planted this last year, very pleased with this show, and have more buds on the way too, note the little white spider...unusual.... Steff you are really getting on with your picking/freezing, love those beans, we grow and eat that variety a lot in France... We've just started pulling our Pot grown Carrots, love growing Veg in Pots no nasties, like you can get attacking in the ground, lots of Cucumbers, Tomato, and bell Peppers on the way, Spring Onions are gorgeous, and lots of salad stuff...Chilli Peppers just started flowering, also Okra...just waiting for our first new Potatoes too.....so lots to look forward to... Another bucket of green beans from the garden today. Time to freeze another batch! Still anxiously waiting for the tomatoes to turn already. squash caught "cucumber mosiac virus" and had to be pulled up. Hubby will plant new squash next weekend.
