Well they thought they would get away with it...and seriously underestimated the anger it would cause. Hopefully they will get their just deserts.

Youngsters today seem to know the law inside out, They can do whatever and just get a telling off by the police until they reach 17 and then they pay for their actions, borstal young offenders prison The law has to change by giving power back to Teachers who at the moment like the police have their hands tied, and the scummy parents who really don't know or care what their kids do should be made to pay as well by taking parenting classes( forceably for the good of our future generations) and make sure there are youth clubs in every area in every city so our youngsters do NOT have to roam streets in gangs

That doesn't surprise me at all Pip.....Human rights without any responsibility. If it was one of mine they would be down the next day to apologise...Ive lost count of the number of times I have had to stand on the doorstep with one of mine...they've knocked the heads off someones flowers.....or they have been rolling hay bales about. Small stuff really....If it was serious I would certainly take responsibility.
We don't have borstals anymore May..... and they closed all the special schools and lumped kids into mainstream that shouldn't be there. To save money....only it hasn't in the long run.
I do think parenting classes are a good idea...sometimes parents can have a court order to attend. We have lost the ability to parent somewhere along the line.

Or for some parents it's much easier to not bother very sad

The natives seem friendly enough lol Been really busy lately what with grandchildren visiting etc and I have been doing a bit extra at the charity shop as our manager has been off for the last week so it's all keeping me out of mischief Did you know I have another grandson? He belongs to my eldest son who incidentally comes home in 38 days - never to go there again I hope! And yes I probably will stay here - can't be doing with flitting all over the place

Doing his second tour in Afghanistan I hate it so much and can't wait for next month to arrive - it's only two years since he was last there but hopefully all our boys will be pulling out by 2014

Oh heck...that must be such a worry. I know when my brothers went to the Falklands how worrying it can be...still they are pulling them out and bringing them home... not before time. He'll have his family and a lovely new son.
