Right now DD and i are making Gobs. I am also boiling some eggs for deviled eggs. And, marinating some steak to make steak salads for supper. I also have some baked potatoes in foil cooking to use throughout the week.

I'm trying to decide between homemade friend chicken, a steak or bbq The chicken used to be your friend? I couldn't do that. I never ate chickens in Russia because I knew them. They had names and everything.

Tonight is mixed veggies and some grass-fed hamburger patties smothered under a bed of sauteed onions, garlic, and mushrooms. Maybe some deviled eggs too. If I feel like making them!

Swiss Steak
2 # round steak, unbrowned 1 can Golden Mushroom soup 1/2 soup can of water (5oz) 1 pkg. dry onion soup mix 1/2 soup can burgundy wine (5oz)
*Pre-heat oven to 325 degrees. Place raw round steak in casserole dish (9 x 13 inch glass pan works well). Mix remaining ingredients and pour over meat. Cover tightly with foil. Bake on middle rack in oven for three hours. YUM! Makes its own gravy. Goes well with mashed potatoes and corn or over rice.
