I'm just curious . . does it say why it tracks your sleep? I mean is there a purpose to it?
Well I guess sleep does have a lot to do with your over all health, I get that. I think. Well no, not really. I've always survived on very little sleep. I guess I don't get it.

I think it's just to see how many solid hours of sleep you're getting . . . (?).
Thanks Beags!

How are the boys doing? Do you have any close to college years yet? I forgot their ages.
I have one going off to college now . . . another form of stress . . how to pay for it.
The other is starting his sophomore year in high school.

awwww . . . thanks for asking Beags! My older son is a senior this year, and little one is an 8th grader.
I've often wondered how your daughter is doing. Is she still working on her singing? I hope so! And how is son? Is he wrestling again this year?

Well everyone stick with what works for you. Yes a good solid nights sleep is a must. Eat lots of fruits and vegetables. Raw if possible. I eat snap peas and soy beans as snacks. I don't quibble with what fruit and vegetables cost, I'll take it out of my entertainment budget. Eating the right foods make a huge difference. Yes I fall off the health wagon, but I just dust myself off and get right back on. Eating right matters to your body, mind and soul. By the way my quote is from Buddha. I meditate on a daily basis. Good morning II! Well, fitbit says that it took me 29 minutes to get to sleep. I woke up 13 times (!!) - btw, that sounds about right. I tossed and turned all night. My actual sleep time was 7 hours 54 minutes (so that's still great for me). I am officially in love with my gadget.

Oh good! I asked about it on Satori, thanks for the info!

It's very interesting to see all the stats . . .
Any ideas on the best way to measure body fat? I'd like to track that too - the fitbit program has a place for it.

I think there are some scales in the market which do that, I'll have to check it out. The scale at the VAMC does it and all other sorts of things but it's really expensive.

Thanks II - that looks great!
Body fat loss interests me more than weight loss, and I can tell when my body fat goes down because my clothes fit much differently. That was the best thing about P90X classic. Speaking of which, I need to do the Monday routine here shortly.

That sounds like a great gadget, SFM. I'd love to know how much sleep I actually get.
Thanks to everyone who's commented. I've learned something from everyone!

Rough night last night - had to remove the fitbit while I was sleeping because it was bugging me. I did get in a Chest & Back P90X work-out last night (didn't do it during the day yesterday like I planned). I am very achy this morning.

I wasted the morning on Newsvine yesterday and didn't get out at all. Need to get out this morning! Where do you put that gadget when sleeping?

Hi II! I never could get used to the Newsvine format!
When you sleep you're supposed to wear the fitbit in a wrist band they give you. I was just too restless and it was annoying me. I wasted the morning on Newsvine yesterday and didn't get out at all. Need to get out this morning! Where do you put that gadget when sleeping?

Run that dog, II! Good morning Sus! Good idea on the epsom salts . . . eek, I'm just achy. I need to stick with P90 so I can get past the first few weeks of feeling like this.
